A National Audit Office report reveals that 98% of NPfIT benefits are yet to be realised and a new comparison website is launched setting out the impact of deprivation on early mortality in England.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust went live with its Allscripts electronic patient record last weekend, three months ahead of schedule.
Clinical Solutions, recently bought by Capita, has been awarded The Information Standard quality mark. The scheme was designed to assure members of the public that an organisation is certified as producing safe and reliable health and social care information. A recent survey carried out by The Information Standard revealed that 72% of the general public believe that they would be better able to manage their own and their family’s health if they had quick and easy access to health information they could trust.
