Virtual Physiological Human event

The Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) network of excellence is holding its first VPH-Initiative working day on 9 September.

The event will consist of Interactive and networking poster session in the morning, followed in the afternoon by an overview of VPH NoE activities and interactive discussion sessions.

The VPH-Initiative working day is supported by the European Commission ICT for Health unit and DG Information Society and Media.

The day will be dedicated to the VPH Initiative, bringing together the VPH network of excellence participants and key representatives from the 14 FP7 projects currently active in the VPH programme.

Participants will include members of the VPH-I working group and project coordinators. The VPH-I day will feature poster and networking sessions from each project, presentations from selected NoE leaders, a talk on future funding and discussion on integration of projects under the VPH umbrella.

Members of the Scientific, Clinical and Industrial Advisory Boards of the VPH NoE will be invited to this day as well as general and associate members.

The NoE can contribute to the travel and accommodation expenses of some General Members and there will be a small number of bursaries available for those presenting at events.

Interactive and networking poster session in the morning. In the afternoon there will be an overview of the VPH NoE activities followed by interactive discussion sessions. These sessions will include European Commission personnel and are aimed at preparing the VPHI Scientific Roadmap to inform next rounds of policy and funding at the Commission
