Tiani Spirit launches in UK

Tiani Spirit has launched its Spirit product into the UK market, after working with South Essex Partnership University NHS Trust to create a successful proof of concept that was partly funded by the interoperability toolkit information sharing challenge fund. Spirt is designed to give staff access to consolidated records, drawn from multiple sources, while maintaining information governance by enforcing rules about information sharing and access.

North Tees and Hartlepool latest trust to use Ascribe web pharmacy

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has gone live with Ascribe’s Web Pharmacy. The system enables pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to check and dispense prescriptions anywhere in the hospital, from the dispensary to the patient’s bedside. The end-goal is a trust-wide implementation of electronic prescribing. The trust previously used an earlier version of the company’s pharmacy system.
