Maternity systems supplier EuroKing Miracle Limited looks set to be liquidated.
HM Revenue and Customs filed a petition to wind up the company at the High Court of Justice's Chancery Division in September.
The London Gazette has just published a notice saying that the case will be heard next week.
EuroKing enjoyed considerable success as a provider of specialist maternity systems to NHS trusts.
The major selling point of EuroKing’s web-based E3 system was that it produced a record for mother and baby together, and separately for the baby alone. The company claimed its Connect2 platform allowed the MIS to be tailored to existing workflow patterns.
Trusts that signed up to take E3 over the past two years included Barking, Newcastle University Hospitals, Medway, Frimley Park Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester and King's College London.
EuroKing’s founder Jonathan Raife left the company he led for 12 years in November 2008, to set up Health Net Connections. This is now the official distributor of GE Healthcare’s Viewpoint and TriumCTG software.
Industry sources suggest that EuroKing has been struggling for some time.
