It may seem deeply counter-intuitive just after CSC has taken a £1 billion write-down on its NHS IT contract and announced 400 redundancies, but could the company be on the road to having a very profitable healthcare business?

The government and the Future Forum seem to have the bit between their collective teeth on the issue of patient access to records (see today's news EHI News) What kind of priority should patient access to records have given that there are so many other issues requiring the NHS' attention and resources?
