With this new organisation to take the reins of much of the NHS estate in April, will they also be taking over associated N3 contracts and LANs.

NHS Choices - does it have a future?

What does this statement in the info strategy mean for the future of NHS Choices? - any ideas? "The Department of Health and other central bodies will, over time, stop providing certain information where this is better done by the market.

And what is it with 'portals'?

Having had the chance to read the information strategy through one of the questions I'm left with is -- what is it with portals? The strategy at various points alights on them as a silver bullet for patient access and 'integrating' clinical systems.

Like John Lennon the new NHS Information Revolution talks about starting a revolution. But is the DH really a seething hotbed of revolutionaries and can the centre mandate an information revolution?

The NHS Information Strategy - does it provide a useful 'route map'

We've been waiting on it for a long time -- does the new NHS Information Strategy hit the spot? Does it provide the high level route map for the next ten years that it aims to?
