CCIO Network launch yesterday

Having attended yesterday's excellent launch event for the CCIO Network as a representatve of UKCHIP which is a supporter of the whole CCIO campaign, I did come away with a question which I heard echoed by other health informaticians.

So many policies, reports and studies have health informatics' implications

Increasingly formal documents, be they DH, European Commission, Nuffield, Kings Fund etc have implications for information handling and a need (usually under-stated) for professional staff to minimise risk and to deliver the necessary informatics to make it happen.
