‘Skunkworks’ is a term widely used in business and engineering to describe a group that is tasked with working on advanced and innovative projects, unhampered by bureaucracy.
EHealth Insider is bringing skunkworks thinking to EHI Live 2011, where it will be used to explore the role that open source software can play in solving healthcare challenges.
The healthcare skunkworks at the show is being run in conjunction with Malcolm Newbury, the founder of Guildfoss Limited, an open source development company.
If you have a question about open source software, or a challenge that you would like an open source vendor to help you with, post it now in the box to the right and get a response at the show.
The first ten people to post questions will win an adorable skunk cuddly toy.
Leeds Teaching Hospital has released the open source code related to its Opensource clinical portal after a successful development phase.
