Interesting to see Liverpool Heart and Chest pick Allscripts to provide its EPR. The Eclipsys mobile-enabled EPR is particularly impressive in demos.
What do folks make of other mobile-enabled or mobile native EPRs that they've seen?
I have to declare an interest here Jon, I work for Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS trust. However, my new tablet running Rio over 3G or Wifi will take some beating. Always connected to my patients. Handwriting recognition (yes, even doctors' handwriting!).Stunning. I would have bought this kit if my trust hadn't provided it. Also, not a demo, real kit I used in my clinic today.

Hi Joe, I was intersted to read your comment regarding a tablet with RIO access. Can i ask what type of tablet, manufacturer product name? I am based in North Somerset as the RIO optimisation lead and always looking out for alternatives to lap tops/toughbooks/carrier pidgeon etc. Any links you can provide would be much appreciated.
I've had it several months now and its connected with a 3g vodaphone secure solution which has no trouble running Rio. Are you a member of The National Mental Health Informatics Network, we had an open day in Newcastle recently where I demoed it?
