Announcement got a lot of interest in the US

I was at the US HIMSS12 health IT show last week and the UK apps announcement got a lot of interest from people closely following mobile health developments. It was seen as a sign of the NHS being serious about mobile as a platform for care delivery and patient tools and services.

That some of the apps are still on a wish list was seen as less important than the message of intent sent.
